Rossing South
The Rossing South Project (Application) covers 69km2 and Connected Minerals’ primary target here is alaskite mineralisation with a secondary target of calcrete hosted uranium, located 6km east of Husab Uranium Mine.
The Rossing South Project displays characteristics that are suitable for both primary and secondary uranium mineralisation and demonstrates the potential for alaskite granitic dykes within the “hot” granite seen in the uranium radiometric data.
A number of structural contacts have been identified as priority target areas for primary uranium mineralisation in addition to secondary potential from calcrete-style uranium deposits within channels running off the granites.
